About Dr. Romina Perri
Dr. Perri is a graduate from the Faculty of Dentistry at McGill University (2008). She pursued a three-year post-doctoral program in Periodontology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a prestigious clinical and research facility. She received a Certificate in Clinical Periodontology and a Master of Science in Periodontal Clinical Research (2011). She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada.
She is currently a clinical instructor and faculty lecturer at the University of Montreal and McGill University. Dr. Perri also was the periodontist at Sainte-Justine Hospital where she treated many young patients with rare craniofacial disorders. She is an experienced lecturer and has addressed local and international audiences in the field of periodontics and reconstructive implant dentistry. She is the lead-author of numerous peer-reviewed scientific articles, including a pivotal study providing insight into possible mechanisms of how risk factors, like diabetes and obesity, may alter periodontal disease inflammation.
She recognizes the importance of continuing education and professional advancement for the benefit of her patients. As a result, she is a member of numerous dental associations and President and founder of the Montreal Multidisciplinary Dental Study Club. Dr. Perri is well regarded among her patients for her expansive clinical knowledge, her gentle mannerism and professional approach.
